Pricing (Transparency)

At Hillard Tax & Accounting, LLC, we like to be transparent with the pricing of the services we offer.  We understand the importance of budgeting or simply wanting to know the pricing of services before purchasing.  While the price for every service we can provide will not be listed, our goal is to provide you with as much information as possible.  There are several factors that could alter the prices outlined below.  

For returning clients, we will aim to keep your tax preparation fees consistent from year to year.

Accounting Services/Bookkeeping

At HT&A, we offer accounting services to our small business clients.  We want to help people and their businesses.  Our accounting service plans allow small business owners to focus on their business.  Access the packages and pricing here.  Our packages may be customized to fit your business needs.

Annual Federal 1099 Preparation (1099-Misc & 1099-NEC)

Form 1099-MISC/NEC is used when you pay an independent contractor more than $600 a year.   Our fee is $250 for up to 10 filings and $10 per additional filings.   To get started, click here.

Business Advisory Services

Accurate financial data is essential to the growth of your company.  We will use your financial data and turn it into meaningful information that will help you make informed business decisions.

Business Formation (Any State)

We can create a limited liability company or corporation for $300 plus the state filing fees.  This package includes Articles, Name Reservation, EIN, and Operating Agreement/Bylaws.  To get started, complete this form!

Business Income Tax Return Preparation (1120, 1120S, 1065)

When it comes to our business returns, we focus on deduction optimization.  The typical fee range is $700 - $1,200 for partnership and corporate tax returns.  This range is dependent upon the quality of your accounting records and includes the filing of one federal and state tax return.

The deposit is $500.  Additional fees are billed based on complexity and other relevant factors.

Consultations

Our consultations are $150 for 30 minutes and $250 for 60 minutes.  Use this option to get solid answers quickly.  If we are not able to assist you, we will let you know and will refund the consult fee.

Estate, Gift, & Trust Tax Return Preparation (706, 709, 1041)

Our fee range for filing such returns is $700 - $1,200.   This range includes one state tax return.  The deposit is $500.  Additional fees are billed based on complexity and other relevant factors.

Form 706 (Estate Tax Return) is filed by an executor of a decedent's estate to determine the taxes imposed by Chapter 11 of the Internal Revenue Code. 

Form 709 (Gift and Generation-Skipping Transfer Tax Return) should be completed when an individual makes a gift that exceeds the annual exclusion threshold.  For 2019, the annual exclusion is $15,000.  This return is also filed for generation-skipping transfers.

Form 1041 (Estate and Trusts Tax Return) is filed by the fiduciary of a domestic decedent's estate, trust, or bankruptcy estate.

Financial Audits and Reviews

Financial Statement Preparation (Compilation)

Quarterly financial statement preparation starts at $750 and annual financial statement preparation starts at $1,500.

Individual Income Tax Return Preparation (Form 1040)

We competitively offer a simple fee range of $250 - $700.  The tax return preparation fee is not dependent on the number of forms used to prepare your tax returns.  Our fee is based upon the amount of time required to accurately and comprehensively prepare your return.

IRS/State Resolution/Audit Support

At HT&A we are glad to help you respond to either federal or state noticesOur minimum fee is $2,000 to start the processIf your return was prepared by HT&A, this fee does not apply IF the letter is a result of an error on our part.

QuickBooks Cleanup

Our in-depth QuickBooks clean-up services provide you with a healthy, fully optimized QuickBooks file.  We review the data file, balance sheet, and income statements.  Our goal is to help you gain insight on how to make QuickBooks work better for your business operations. Upon completion,  we will schedule a meeting with you to discuss the results and answer any questions you may have.

Our minimum Quickbooks cleanup fee is $3,000 per year.   To get started with our cleanup services, be sure to complete this form.
