At Hillard Tax & Accounting, LLC we strive to keep our client's information secure and confidential. Help us protect your valuable information from identity theft by using our SecureFile Pro portal to send and receive documents.
Even if you are not a client of Hillard Tax & Accounting, LLC, you are still able to securely share files with us. Simply click the link above and use our Guest Exchange option.
Instructions - How To Create Your Portal
Our staff must create a user account for you within SecureFilePro. Complete this form and you will receive an email from SecureFilePro notifying you that an account has been created. The email will contain a link and username.
Read the welcome email and click the link provided. If you are not able to simply click on the link, please copy and paste it in your web browser.
The Portal will ask you to enter the last four digits of the SSN or EIN. (Note: If you are filing a joint return, use the last 4 digits of the SSN that belongs to the taxpayer whose name is listed first on the tax return.)
Create a password for your account. The password must contain an upper case letter, a lower case letter, a number, and a special character.
Click the Submit button. The Sign-in screen will then be displayed.
Next step - Sign into the portal
From the sign-in screen - enter your provided username and the password you created.
You can always return to the sign-in screen by clicking the login button provided at the top of this page.
Downloading/uploading documents from/to your preparer
Sign into the portal.
Look for the "My Folder" menu on the left side of the screen.
Click "Documents from Preparer" if you wish to download documents or click "Documents to Preparer" if you wish to upload documents.
In the right window, your documents should appear. Click the "Download" link for each document you wish to download.
Select either the "open" or "save" option.
Note: If the file that you are downloading is password protected, the password to unlock the file is the first 4 letters of your last name and the last 5 digits of your SSN.
