Hourly Billing Rates
For services billed by the hour, the following rates apply:
Accountant – $150/hour
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – $300/hour

Form 706 (Estate Tax Return) is filed by an executor of a decedent's estate to determine the taxes imposed by Chapter 11 of the Internal Revenue Code.Â
Form 709 (Gift and Generation-Skipping Transfer Tax Return) should be completed when an individual makes a gift that exceeds the annual exclusion threshold. For 2025, the annual exclusion is $19,000. This return is also filed for generation-skipping transfers.
Form 1041 (Estate and Trusts Tax Return) is filed by the fiduciary of a domestic decedent's estate, trust, or bankruptcy estate.

Financial Statement compilations are essential for business owners who wish to expand or secure funding.  With this service, our professional team will review the already prepared financial statements and consider whether the financial statements appear appropriate in form and free from obvious material misstatements. Additionally, a compilation report is provided along with the financial statements.
Monthly financial statement compilations start at $300, Quarterly financial statement compilations start at $875 and annual financial statement compilations start at $3,500.

We competitively offer a simple fee range of $350 - $700. The tax return preparation fee is not dependent on the number of forms used to prepare your tax returns. Our fee is based upon the amount of time required to accurately and comprehensively prepare your return.

At HT&A we are glad to help you respond to either federal or state notices. Our minimum fee is $2,000 to start the process. If your return was prepared by HT&A, this fee does not apply IF the letter is a result of an error on our part.
